About Roxanne

Roxanne is a sophomore student at Brightmoon Academy, whom Ember has a huge crush on. She is a sarcastic, tough, wild, and reckless girl who is street-smart and has a lot of expertise regarding life on the streets. However, at school, she is often considered to be a social outcast due to her often having rumors made about her that she’s a kleptomaniac with no regard for society. (This hardly ever was the truth) She has a rough past that she’s attempting to work through, but people who misunderstand her and call her things like “Trash panda” make it hard to want to be the good guy.

She was raised by her older brother who took her under his wing at 11 due to their parents having issues with gambling/drugs. This caused Roxanne and her brother to live in the streets for a little while until a neighbor helped them out financially and allowed her brother to do a few chores until they got to afford their trailer to live in.

In the meantime, they received a place to live, and they both tried to afford food and necessities by stealing like they used to do when they lived on the streets, looking through trash for treasures, or simply finding ways to scrap for money in any way they could. This got them into lots of trouble several times, but it also made them more agile and skilled with time.

A while later after Roxanne was older, she managed to afford an education for herself to attend, while her brother was jumping from job to job. A month later, however, her brother leaves a letter stating that he left for another part of the city to find a better opportunity, which upsets Roxanne for a while but she adjusts herself to the fact thinking he would come back later.

Several months passed and Roxanne soon found herself short of money so she started to get suspicious. She finds a few bottles of whiskey lying under her brother's bunkbed and lashes out at him, feeling completely betrayed.
